Withdrawing Funds

To withdraw funds from your account you can contact us by phone, email or Marketmaker® chat. To protect our clients from identity theft and fraud this will generally be done by returning funds to the source that they were received from. If the applicable payment method is a card refund, then the cards can be refunded up to the full amount that they have been used to fund the account within the last 6 months. Any funds subsequent to this would need to be returned by a bank transfer. Please note that in the case of credit cards, funds will still have to be returned to them even if the balance owed on the credit card is less than the amount being refunded, leaving a positive balance on the card.

In order to set up details for a bank transfer, in the first instance you will need to inform us of the of the bank account that you would like funds sent to either by calling us on +44 (0)207 170 8205 or by using Marketmaker chat. Applicants must have their name, CMC Markets' .account number, bank name, bank account number and sort code ready when setting up their registered bank account. International clients must also include their swift/bic codes and their IBAN number. Once we have these details, you will be able to request a payment out to your bank over the telephone by calling our helpdesk
