Dear Client, Goldman Sachs We would like to inform you of a number of changes to your CMC Markets' CFD account. As you may be aware, Goldman Sachs recently made a 10% strategic investment in CMC Markets Plc. To ensure compliance with any SEC rules we are required to remove Goldman Sachs, (ticker GS (US)) as a tradeable instrument via CFDs. The Instrument will be suspended on the platform from Friday 14th December 2007 and any client wanting to close their positions will be required to do so via telephone. Any remaining positions will be closed on Monday 14th January 2008. UK Margin Changes
Due to the recent changes enforced through MiFID, SETSmm and SETS will be united to create a single powerful platform for the trading of the constituents of the FTSE All Share Index and higher-traded AIM securities. The combined service, called SETS, combines order-driven trading with integrated market making. In order to clearly separate the different margins for the UK stocks we have have banded them via their relevant index. These changes will take place from Monday 14th January 2008 for new and existing positions.
The above margins are CMC Markets' standard requirements, larger positions may generate a larger margin requirement.
