Following the offer for Egg PLC (UK) by Prudential PLC (UK) being declared wholly unconditional, Egg has been deleted from the FTSE 250 index. As CMC Markets only makes a market in FTSE 350 stocks, we will no longer be making a market in Egg Plc.

CMC Markets will continue to actively make a market in Egg until Friday 20th January 2006 to all clients with existing positions, allowing them to voluntarily close any open positions on the phone. At close of business on 20th January 2006, all existing positions will be closed at the mid-close price. However, please note that if the takeover of Egg is completed between now and the 20th of Jan 2006, the relevant corporate action will take affect and override the above.

The stock replacing Egg in the FTSE 250 will be Aquarius Platinum (AQP UK) and this will be available to trade from Monday the 16th of Jan 2005.
