Setting up Sony Ericsson Z800i for GPRS

Menu options may change slightly for different versions of firmware.

Network Setup:

Goto Menu, then Settings.
Navigate to the Connectivity Screen.
Select Data Comms.
Select Data Accounts, then New Account.
Select 'PS Data'.
Enter an appropriate name for the new account.
Select 'Continue'.
Enter the APN, Username and Password for the network Operator.
Save.
Navigate back to Connectivity.
Select 'Settings for Java'.
Select Internet Profiles.
Select New Profile.
Enter a name for the Internet Profile.
Select Connect Using.
Enter the same name as specified in step 6.
Save.
Select Internet Profiles, select the profile name specified in step 14.
Navigate to Internet Settings.
Select Internet Profiles, select the profile name specified in step 14.
