Setting up Sony Ericsson P900 for GPRS

Network Setup:

From the Main screen (with the flip down), go to Applications -> Control Panel
Select the Connections tab then click on Internet Accounts
Click on New
Set Account Name to anything you like (this is how you will refer to this connection). Set Connection type to GPRS & click Advanced
Set Address to the name of the APN relevant to the Operator
If the APN requires a username and password, click on the User name and password required checkbox, and enter the username and password for the APN
Ensure that the Preferred dropdown shows your newly created connection
