FTSE 250 Changes

The FTSE European Committee recently approved changes to the UK FTSE 250 Index. CMC Spreadbet provides Spread Betting prices on Stocks that are members of this Index, and will therefore introduce new Stocks to trade whilst no longer actively making markets in others.

The changes announced by The FTSE European Committee will be applied at close of business on Friday 17th December and take effect at market open on Monday 20th December. Subsequent to this date it will not be possible to open any positions in these Stocks.

Deal4free.com will continue to actively make a market in these Stocks until Tuesday 4th January 2005 to all clients with existing positions, allowing them to voluntarily close any open positions on the telephone only. At close of business on Tuesday 4th January 2005 all existing positions will be closed at the mid-market closing price. Quarterly bets will be closed out at the mid-market closing price plus any relevant cost of carry and dividend adjustments.
