Having joined CMC Markets in May of this year as MD for the UK & Ireland, I thought it was time to introduce myself to you and explain my vision for CMC Markets in this region.

Throughout the 10 years I have spent in this industry, one simple fact has always stood out - responding to your clients' needs is the key to success. Through the heavy investment we have made in our Marketmaker core trading technology and a commitment to highly competitive pricing, we believe we have built a strong foundation in this area.

CMC Markets has also heavily invested over the last 3 years in a global expansion programme which has resulted in the group operating from 20 offices worldwide stretching from Auckland in the East to San Francisco in the West.

As regional MD, my aim is to strengthen our local focus in the UK & Ireland by delivering the services and products demanded by customers within this very competitive market place. Customer service is our key challenge and I aim to lead CMC Markets in delivering the highest customer service levels in the industry.

CMC Markets is in the process of sending out a questionnaire to find out more about our customers opinions of CMC Markets' existing service. The research is being carried out by Blue Latitude, an independent research company and a member of the Market Research Society. Blue Latitude is bound by the Society's code of conduct, which means that all comments made in the course of the questionnaire will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
