Withdrawing Funds

To withdraw funds from your account you can contact us by phone, email or Marketmaker® chat. Please note that on occasion it may be necessary for us to request additional supporting information before releasing a payment. To assist with fraud prevention and anti money laundering requirements, we operate a "return to source" policy which means that when requesting a withdrawal of funds we will return funds back to those cards and accounts used to fund the trading account. In cases where funding has been made using both card and bank transfers, cards will be given priority when withdrawals are being made. Please note that withdrawals back to cards will take on average between 3-5 working days to credit your card account.

In order to set up details for a bank transfer, in the first instance you will need to inform us of the of the bank account that you would like funds sent to either by calling us on +44 (0)207 170 8205 or by using Marketmaker chat. Applicants must have their name, CMC Markets' .account number, bank name, bank account number and sort code ready when setting up their registered bank account. International clients must also include their swift/bic codes and their IBAN number. Once we have these details, you will be able to request a payment out to your bank over the telephone by calling our helpdesk
