Setting up XDA 3 for GPRS

Menu options may change slightly for different versions of firmware.

Network Setup:

  1. From the Start Menu, select Settings -> Connections -> Connections
  2. Then manage existing connections, select new
  3. Set Name for the connection to anything you like (this is how you will refer to this connection)
  4. Select Cellular Line (GPRS) from the Select a Modem drop down list
  5. Click on the Next button
  6. Set the Access Point Name (APN) to the value relevant to the Operator
  7. Click on the Next button
  8. Set the User Name to the value relevant to the Operator
  9. Set the Password to the value relevant to the Operator
  10. Click the Finish button
