Setting up Sony Ericsson W880i for GPRS

From the Menu screen, select Settings > Connectivity > Data Comm.
Select Data Accounts > New Account and set to 'PS Data'
Enter a memorable name for the account
Set APN, Login ID and Password according to your Operator settings
Select Save then click on Ok to return to the Data Accounts screen
Go back to the Connectivity Screen
Select Internet Settings then Internet Profiles and add a New Profile
Enter a memorable name, within the new profile select the data account created earlier, save the new profile
Return to the Connectivity menu and select Internet Settings then Settings for Java
Set the new profile, save the settings
